Overview of the Landscaping Program
In order to provide a way for the landscaping to be maintained while at the same time limiting access to the community to multiple outside vendors, the Association is responsible for the maintenance of the landscaping and lawn for every lot in The Classics. This service is to include regular mowing, edging and hedge trimming, annual mulch and pine straw installation, as well as fertilization and insect and disease treatment.
This maintenance does not include inside the owner's lanai or high maintenance plant material, such as roses and citrus. In addition, owners are responsible to trim trees over 12 feet in height. Owners can arrange to have these areas maintained by the current landscapers at an additional charge and will be billed directly by the landscaper.
The HOA has contracted with two companies to maintain the landscaping.
